Sega Genesis Model 2 Console - Black

The black Sega Genesis Model 2 Console is a 16-bit Sega Genesis home console from the classic 1990s era of cartridge gaming. This revision uses the smaller Model 2 shell, giving the Genesis lineup a more compact profile than the original Model 1 system.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to work. Comes with everything you need to play.
• Includes: console, 1 OEM wired controller, power cord, AV video cord.
• Plays standard Sega Genesis game software.
• The Genesis library includes well-known series such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage.
• Model 2 systems use the later rounded console design associated with the second major Genesis hardware revision.
• Supports the traditional Sega Genesis controller setup for original-style 16-bit gameplay.

The Sega Genesis is Sega’s 16-bit home platform, positioned against the Super Nintendo during the fourth console generation. This Model 2 variant belongs to the revised Genesis console lineup.
